You Will Know Me By My Story...

Plan to attend Sunday School at 10:50am as your connection to the ongoing ministries and events of the youth group. Check out the monthly Mosaic UMYF meetings at 6pm on the 2nd Sunday of each month. Regular UMYF meetings will be at church on Tuesdays for both Junior and Senior High. Each week will feature a variety of relational activities, crazy games, and a time of spiritual challenge.

Relationships matter! That's our belief regarding the Youth Ministries at West Side United Methodist Church. Each of us is unique. We have our own language, our own ways of dressing; we like different types of music, and have different lifestyles, values, and attitudes. Connecting with each other and listening to each other's stories is how we do church.

To nurture an open and diverse community we support many different types of youth ministries. However, our priority is to help you develop and grow a healthy self-concept about your value and worthiness as a person through personal relationships with Jesus Christ, each other, and members of our congregation and community. Ours is a message of hope in a world of unthinkable pain and alienation. You do not need to be isolated. Come to the The Water Whole and find the Living God who nurtures you and helps you grow!
