Neighborhood Picnic Youth Tent featuring Wii, GameCube, PS2, Foosball, BopIt. A very popular stop at this year's picnic, many people took advantage of the chance to play in the virtual gaming tent. Watch for another virtual gaming opportunity in Winter/Spring 2008!

The youth volunteered time and sweat at a food pantry warehouse sorting food deliveries, painting the storehouse, landscaping and weeding, and anything else the staff needed help with. After working all day we had some discretionary time to spend at the beach, playing ball or cards and engaging each other in dialogue. The evening meetings provided a chance to touch base and share our reflections of the day's events with a culminating point on the beach on Lake Michigan around a campfire as the sun set.

| February 9-11, 2007 - Sr. High Winter Retreat |

Fifteen of us (11 youth, 4 adults) went to the Sr. High Winter Retreat at
SpringHill Camp on February 9-11, 2007. Here are some of the things we learned:
- Togetherness: it's great to have Christian friends that you can play with, worship with, and talk to about your faith.
- Teamwork: we played "broomball" with some new friends (from New Life Community Church in Brighton), who we'd never met before. By working together, we made it to the "final four", and almost won in double-overtime.
- Faith: in our own way, each of us got a better understanding of ourselves, and how God wants us to work for Him.
