A delightful evening of music is coming to West Side on Friday, May 9, when the Women’s Chamber Chorus present their concert “ARISE” here at 7:30 p.m. Also singing are the Chamber Maids, and our own Joyous Ringers Handbell Choir will play. Selections range from folk and gospel to a lovely Dvorak piece, forming a program to send one humming! Free, but donations are gratefully accepted. |

Mark Your Calendars Now for Sunday, May 11, 2008 to attend our last Mosaic Service for the summer! That’s right, the Mosaic band, singers, and planners are taking some well-earned time off this summer. Plan to join us for an evening of Praise and Celebration Through Music. The May Mosaic Service will be at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary. A light supper and great fellowship can be found prior to the service in Weiss Hall at 6 p.m. |

| May 31, June 5 & 11 | Habitat for Humanity 2008 Project | |
We are seeking volunteers who are interested in helping out with this year’s Good News House project. We will be building a home in Ypsilanti for Ms. Karen Toosen and her two children, Quentin and Janai. Our build dates include Saturday, May 31, Thursday, June 5 and Wednesday, June 11. We need volunteers to help with the building project and volunteers to help with providing lunches. If you are interested in participating with the build you don’t require any special skills, only a desire to help. Volunteer opportunities include either one half day or full day commitments. The worship service will be focusing on Stephen Ministers. The title of it is. "Christ Caring for People through People - Stephen Ministers". We are seeking people who would like to become a Stephen Minister and join the fall training sessions. This date is yet to be determined. It’s Coming! Vacation Bible School! June 23-26, 9 a.m to Noon, for children 5 years of age through 5th grade! Do you like children and want to help?
