Shelter Program
For the past several years, West Side has been one of over 20 area congregations supporting Interfaith Hospitality Network, (IHN) in providing shelter for homeless families. At first, we provided 2 weeks or more, each year, of shelter in our church. More recently, a separate facility, "Alpha House," has housed the families. 50 or more members typically volunteer each of two weeks, providing food, childcare and overnight & weekend service, at Alpha House
