Church Membership
New Member Class is Coming!
Class sessions will be held on three consecutive Sundays, beginning Sunday, April 6, and continuing on April 13 and 20, 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., in the Lounge #200. Attendance at all sessions is required. Refreshments and child care will be provided. Members will be received on Sunday, April 27, during the 11 a.m. service. We do need to hear from you as plans need to be made for food preparation and to provide a care give for your children. Call the church office, 663-4164, to register.
Membership classes are held in the fall, spring, and late summer. Participants who wish to join our church are accepted as members on the completion of the classes and are asked to affirm that membership during the worship service on the following Sunday.
The classes will afford an opportunity to introduce yourself
and to learn more about those who will share the membership experience
with you. You will learn about the general mission and ministry
of the United Methodist Church and be encouraged to participate
in the ministries of West Side United Methodist Church.
