Currently, the adult collection comprises the largest collection in the Library, with approximately 900 books. The books cover a wide range of topics, and the books are organized by topic.
1. Bible Study and Reference: These books are located on the shelves along the hallway. Here you will find the Bible in various translations, Bible reference books (incling the New Interpreter's Bible, Bible dictionaries and concordances), Bible study aides, books on the history and archaeology of Bible lands, history of the Bible as a document, and biographies of men and women who appear in the Bible.
2. Books on the Christian Faith: These books are located on the left half of the shelves on the far wall. They include books on theology, history of Christianity, hymns and church music, religious art, spiritual growth, devotionals, prayer, and missionary work.
3. Books on Social and Community Issues: These books are located on the right half of the shelves on the far wall. Included in this section are books on social issues (e.g., poverty, diversity), parenting, relationships, aging, health, emotions, care and support, and bereavement. A small collection of Christian fiction and contemporary biography are also included here; these books are located on the far right.
