Hospitality Ministry

"Our Hearts, Our Minds, Our Doors are open" – the people of West Side United Methodist Church.

The goal of West Side United Methodist Church's Hospitality Ministry is to create a warm, friendly, and comfortable place for everyone who enters our fellowship.

We understand that it is difficult to break into a community when everyone is comfortable with their own routines and their own acquaintances. Being a newcomer is similar to going to someone else’s family reunion. Everybody knows each other, has histories and experiences in common, it is our purpose to leave no one on the edge—we seek to include everyone into the family, through hearing their story and giving them a place in our shared ministry.

The Hospitality Ministry of West Side United Methodist Church is an opportunity to transform strangers into friends. Please join us in this ministry.

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it. (Hebrews 13:2)
