Worship Committee
The Worship Committee advises the pastors and the music director on various aspects of worship. Committee members are responsible for coordinating various elements of Sunday morning worship and monthly Mosaic services, including preparing Holy Communion, coordinating worship and communion assistants, finding speakers for children’s time, coordinating altar flowers, and providing child care at special services such as Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Christmas Eve. Worship Committee also oversees acolytes, ushers, and sound system operators. Members of the Worship Committee, together with the members of the congregation, decorate the church for Easter and Advent/Christmas. Worship Committee also provides for items used in worship such as bulletins, candles, and communion elements.
