Sunday school for all ages begins at 9:30 a.m.
Worship begins at 10:30 a.m.
Sunday Morning Family Gathering
Families are welcome to come to the fellowship hall at 9:30a.m.for a time of learning with your children. There will be games, skits, stories and activities all centered around one biblical message each week.
This is for families with all age children and for children Kindergarten -5th grades whose parents choose to go to an adult class. We will continue to have a class for our preschool children, our 6th -12th grade and our adult classes
.
Parents are welcome to keep all their children with them including babies-seniors. Other adults including grandparents, aunts, uncles and family friends are also welcome to come and have fun and fellowship with our children. Come as you are, the coffee will be ready and we’ll all learn and grow in our faith by having fun with our children.

During the Worship Service

4 year olds – 2nd grades - will leave after the children's time during the worship service to attend “Kids Own Worship” to reinforce the lessons learned during Sunday school. Room #111
Third grade and up will stay for the worship service
We provide age appropriate Christian Education material for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders as we realize this is a big change for them. Please pick up a copy on your way into the worship service, but save it until the sermon if you can☺
West Side is a church that LOVES our children! Our hope for all our children and youth is that they will know they are loved and valued by God and by our church family. We try to make this a place of learning where everyone, no matter what age and capabilities, are welcome.
The children’s ministry begins with the newest gifts from God, our infants. We have two nurseries to serve the children: infants (0-2 years) and toddlers (2+ years). The nurseries are staffed with loving caregivers from the congregation, as well as a professional care provider for the infants. Pagers are provided for anyone who brings children to the nurseries.
The Computer Learning Center (Room 112) is a regular part of the Sunday Morning experience for children age 1st grade through High School.
Each summer we host a Vacation Bible School. The children enjoy learning about God in a relaxed setting with crafts, music, and special events centered on a fun Christian theme.
